Terry H. Ashley, 69, of Syracuse, born in Norfolk, NY passed away July 10, 2012 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer, and is now resting peacefully. He was employed for 55 years with Patrician’s Snowflake Bakery. Terry was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman, and lover of nature. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Geraldine Printup Ashley; 6 children, Theresa (William) Schaffer, Lori Ashley, Tammy (Terry) McDonough, Shawn (Teri) Ashley, Anjanette Spotted Horse, Jason Spotted Horse; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Doris (Les) Murray, Sandy (Jack) Goodman, Colleen Quinn; brothers, Roger Ashley, Robert Ashley; several nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. Services: 10 am Saturday July 14th at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tpk., Syracuse. Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Terry’s name to Hospice of CNY.
